Readings- Wis 9:13-18b Wisdom, knowledge come from Lord alone.
- Ps 90:3-6, 12-17 "In every age, O Lord, you have been our refuge." Centuries are as hours to you. Teach us to grow in wisdom. Have pity; fill us; prosper our work.
- Phmn 9-10, 12-17 Old Paul returns Onesimus ["Useful"] to be beloved brother. Welcome him.
- Lk 14:25-33 Jesus: “To be my disciple, 'hate' self and everyone else, carry your cross, come after me, count the cost, renounce possessions."
