September 13, 2013: "Golden-mouthed" St. John Chrysostom
Readings
- 1 Tm 1:1-2, 12-14 Paul to Timothy: I'm grateful to Lord Jesus Christ who strengthened, trusted, appointed me, showed me mercy.
- Ps 16:1b-2a, 5, 7-8, 11 "You are my inheritance, O Lord." I take refuge in, bless, set before me the Lord who shows me the path to life.
- Lk 6:39-42 Can the blind guide the blind? Hypocrite, remove the beam from your eye to see clearly, remove the splinter in your brother’s.

(I skipped the "medical" pin even though St. John Chrysostom is a "doctor" of the church.)
Music
Man in the Mirror/ Jackson (music video) (secular but in line with the gospel)
Special greetings to and prayers for ...
